The Covid-19 pandemic presented the world with a humanitarian crisis, affecting millions of people in Europe alone and giving the region’s healthcare system several unprecedented challenges. The medtech industry is now at the epicentre of the pandemic due to the rising demands for diagnostic test kits, personal protective equipment, ventilators and other critical medical devices.
